FROM ROMAN CATHOLICIAN TO COSMIC ECUMENISM

[...] Why had not the pagan world known religious conflicts? [...]
The Indian Dominican Fr. Anthony Elenjimittam, in his book "Cosmic Ecumenism" reminds us that in 1945 two atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki were dropped by the "Christians" of the United States of America.
The economic resources are largely diverted to the production of armaments, while more than two thirds of humanity are condemned to poverty and hunger. This civilization has divided the nations, placing them against each other, race against race, religion against religion; this for the sole purpose of safeguarding the privileges of a few individuals.
Violence leads nowhere. We must overcome ignorance by living wisely, transcending hatred through love and understanding.
Man is one, although men are many, religion is one even if there are many religions. We are all one, one without a second, although we are and we appear like many.
Anthony spent his life pursuing and preaching his utopian dream of a world community of nations, with only one world government, a world citizenship, without a passport or any pass. P Anthony looked at all nations, peoples and religious traditions with love and respect as if they were different rooms in the same building as his Heavenly Father.
